I do this a lot! It's because I get bored easily so maybe people have different reasons, but when I stick to one book, it means i find it really good.

As a person who shifts reading interests with moods, this was everything. I loved this!

I have struggled with attention deficit for a very long time. I used to beat myself constantly, trying to overcome it.

But now, I’ve realized it’s not actually a deficit...it’s a boon. I tend to switch btw 2 to 3 books every half hr...n it helps me read for longer periods widout losing interest.

The best part is tat I can instantly reconnect wid any book right where I left off.

So..I’m always reading multiple books at the same time n it has really helped me.

Oh, I love that! I also read multiple books at the same time. Often, they are either different genres or different languages. I also feel like I need different books for different times of the day, something more creative in the morning, like poems, or informative, such as nonfiction and fiction (fantasy included) before bed.

Wow, that’s such a nice approach. I have a similar one I guess, when I read lighter books when I want to rest and more difficult when I don’t mind straining my brain.

I reread books that give me an endorphin boost. If not it’s a grind to get through them.

What are the books that give you the biggest endorphin boosts?

When I was a boy, it was adventure stories. Now I’m in love with text books. I’m an oddball.

I had no idea that you can read books in 5 languages! That is amazing! I also tend to read many books at the same time. At the moment, I’m reading How brands grow, Harry Potter, and Interview with a Vampire.

Thank you! Wow, you’re reading such lovely books! Have you read Harry Potter before?

Yes, when I was younger. I wanted to read something light, since Interview with a vampire can feel quite heavy at times.

HP is one of my favourite series, although I read it quite late for the first time -- when I was 20. How do you like Interview with a Vampire?

They made a TV series of it as well!

Oh, wow. I need to check it out, I have only seen the movie.

To my mind, the TV series was not so good. It did not follow the original plot.

I love it. It is nothing like the TV series, and it is real horror. I still have not found any writer that can write like Anne Rice does. The way she describes things and feelings is just amazing. I can recommend her books.

I'm a huge mood reader so I totally get this. I read multiple books at once because sometimes I'm just not feeling a particular vibe or writing style
